Aimee Charlotte
Visual Artist
About
An emerging contemporary visual artist based in the North East; Aimee Charlotte explores our shared culture through painting and illustration, both traditional and digital. Her work combines themes of psychology and mythology with popular imagery, as well as drawing from the post-industrial landscape and the working-class culture of the North East
Aimee’s work is laced with narrative, symbolism and dark humour, presented in a colourful and surrealist style
Aimee is currently based in Middlesbrough, at Dundas House Studios
